I grew up in Northfield, a small farming community in East Hants, where I developed a passion for sports and physical activity. After earning my degree in Physical Education at Teachers College in Truro, I spent my entire teaching career sharing that passion with elementary and middle school students as a physical education teacher.

I’ve always enjoyed connecting with people and raising awareness about the importance of home and health care for all ages. Accidents or illnesses can happen at any time, and it’s crucial that people know where to turn for support when they need it most.

As a lifelong sports enthusiast, I’ve been playing ball for over 50 years and have enjoyed participating in many other sports along the way. I’ve had the privilege of coaching numerous sports teams and officiating basketball, and yes—I’m a proud, lifelongLeafs fan! TML 4-ever!
