To begin the process of obtaining homecare services, simply reach out to us (https://www.rememberwhenhomecare.com/contact-us)via telephone or email, or click the “Book Your Free Assessment”(https://www.rememberwhenhomecare.com/free-assesment) button on our website. One of our nursing team members, Jenna or Steph, will connect with you to address any questions and schedule a free, in-home assessment.
During this assessment,(https://www.rememberwhenhomecare.com/your-homecare-journey) either Steph or Jenna will collaborate with you and/or your loved one to create a customized, in-home care plan, discuss scheduling, and review our company policies. Once this process is complete, we can begin!
Absolutely. Prior to employment, our employees are mandated to undergo and provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Background check. These checks are renewed annually to ensure ongoing compliance. Furthermore, our company carries liability insurance, and all employees are covered by WCB insurance.
Following the initial assessment (https://www.rememberwhenhomecare.com/free-assesment)completed by a member of our nursing team, in-home care can begin within 1-2 weeks from that date. However, in urgent situations, such as for clients requiring palliative care (https://www.rememberwhenhomecare.com/palliative-care-services)or those requiring post-hospital care (https://www.rememberwhenhomecare.com/recovery-care)pending discharge, services can be initiated within 24 hours.
During the initial home assessment,(https://www.rememberwhenhomecare.com/your-homecare-journey) a member of our nursing team, Jenna or Steph will discuss caregiver matching with you. We take into consideration not only the skill level required, but also your preferred schedule, caregiver preference and any specific characteristics you are looking for.
