I am originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland. I have many years of experience in administrative staffing across multiple sectors including acute care, long term care, mental health and now private homecare. I began my career with the Health Authority, working to staff critical care units. I then accepted a position as a Staffing Coordinator with an external staffing agency where I was swiftly promoted to supervisor and later to branch manager. In 2013 I began a challenging position managing staffing across eleven long-term care facilities. Although I retired in 2021, I missed the daily camaraderie with fellow co-workers, caregivers and clients, prompting my return to the workforce. In my spare time, I love to garden, read, cook and cherish quiet moments with my family and my three wonderful dogs.”
