Sarah is one of our Community Care Managers. Sarah is the friendly face you’ll often see at local events and teaching workshops throughout communities in HRM, Halifax, Dartmouth, Pictou County and Colchester County. She completes new client assessments, updates care plans, and works closely with families to ensure seniors receive personalized, homecare solutions - right at home.

I’m originally from the Annapolis Valley and now live in Fall River. I was drawn to RW HealthCare because I truly value this organization’s core values—especially the emphasis on client autonomy and supporting individuals to have choice and control in their healthcare.
I bring a kind demeanour, a sense of wit, and a broad range of nursing experience to the team. I’ve been a Registered Nurse for almost 20 years, with a diverse background largely rooted in critical care. I’ve also had the opportunity to work outpost in Northern Alberta, serving three reservation communities. That experience was especially meaningful to me, as it allowed me to care for and become part of the community while supporting individuals in ways that respected their strengths, culture, and independence.
I’m a strong advocate for building healthy communities and empowering people to advocate for their own health. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
I’m also a sound therapist, and you’ll often find me at home playing my instruments and exploring the healing power of sound.
