Elder Dog

ElderDog Canada's mission is to honour and preserve the animal-human bond through care, companionship, commemoration, and education. ElderDog does this by assisting older adults in the care of their canine companions, promoting the welfare of older dogs whose lives are disrupted due to illness, relocation or death of a human companion, educating about the human-animal bond and the significant role of companion animals in the health and well-being of seniors; and supporting and conducting research into the human-animal bond with a focus on seniors and canine companionship.
