Bringing Physiotherapy to Your Doorstep
At Remember When HealthCare, we are committed to providing comprehensive homecare solutions that help seniors and individuals with disabilities live safely and comfortably in their own homes. As part of this commitment, we collaborate with trusted community partners who offer specialized home support services. One of these valued partners is Physio at Home Halifax, a mobile physiotherapy service dedicated to helping individuals regain strength, mobility, and independence—all from the comfort of home.

The Importance of In-Home Physiotherapy for Recovery
Physiotherapy plays a crucial role in post-hospital care at home, especially for seniors and individuals recovering from surgery. Research shows that physiotherapy provided at home can significantly reduce hospital readmissions and improve recovery outcomes (Keefe et al., 2023). Many Canadians face barriers to accessing outpatient physiotherapy, such as mobility challenges and lack of transportation, making in-home services a critical component of post-surgery care at home (Canadian Physiotherapy Association, 2022).
For patients recovering from joint replacements, fractures, or neurological conditions such as strokes, in-home physiotherapy helps restore function, build strength, and prevent complications that could lead to further hospitalizations (Statistics Canada, 2022).
